Hallo
friends, my name is Chika. I would like to tell you a story about Malin
Kundang.
Onces upon a
time, on the north Sumatra, live a poor women and her son named Malin Kundang.
One day
Malin ask to his mother.
“ Mother,
what if I sail overseas ? if I stay here I wil allways be a poor man. I want to
be a rich man!”
His mother
did not agree, but Malin Kundang had made up his mine.
His mother
wiped her tires.
“If you really
want to go,i can’t stop you. I could only pray tu god for you tu gain succes in
life. But promise me you will come back.”
Every
morning, his mother stood on the peer,wishes for Malin Kundang to come home.
After
several years waiting with out any news, Malin Kundang’s mother surprised by
the arrival of a big ship in the peer.
A man who
looked wilty staping down a lader with beautiful women.
That Malin
Kundang and his wife.
“Malin, you
are back. I miss you so much son”.
But Malin
Kundang did not show any respond. He was embarased to admit his poor mother in
front of is wife.
“You are not
my mother. I don’t know you.My mother would never wire suke ragged
and ugly cloth”.
“Malin, you
don’t know me? I am your mother!” she seed sadly in tires. Malin Kundang faces
as cold as ice.
“Tike this
money and get out of here!, Don’t disturb me again!”
“Malin.....my
son,why do you treat me like this?”
Malin
Kundang ignored his mother and lesf. His mother was so hart, she cried and
cried.
“Dear god, I
Kursed him to become a stone!!”
Sudenlly the the wind blew so hard and a tunderstorm
came. The ship was raked and his hol body turned in tu stone.
That’s all
